HTC Exec Promises ‘Huge Surprises’ In 2015

HTC Exec Promises

‘Huge Surprises’ In 2015

We expect to see a lot of interesting new devices and technology in 2015. The new year has already arrived in several countries around the world so now we start counting down the days until we get to see some new stuff. An executive from HTC took to Twitter a while back to raise some hype about the company’s 2015 roadmap, saying that it brings some “huge surprises.”
The executive in question is Jeff Gordon, the senior global online communications manager at HTC. He tweeted today that HTC’s 2015 roadmap is going to be “our best ever,” and that the aforementioned surprises “will blow you away.”

“I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on!,” says Gordon in another tweet, without giving up any hints about the products that the Taiwanese manufacturer will be showing off in 2015.
So there’s no official word as yet about the roadmap. Doesn’t matter, we’ll always have rumors. First off a new Desire handset is expected to be unveiled at CES 2015. Its probably going to be a mid-range device limited to certain markets around the globe.

What many are waiting for is the HTC Hima, the successor to HTC One (M8). Specifications of this smartphone have already leaked online multiple times, even if they’re not accurate, they paint a good picture of what we can expect from the next HTC flagship.

The Sense 7 user interface update from HTC is likely going to arrive around May. It is not bundled with the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the company’s devices, this is something that will certainly interest HTC device owners. A whole new look and feel for their devices.

That’s pretty much all that has been rumored for HTC’s 2015 lineup. We’ll just have to wait on the company to make official announcements, and wow us with products that haven’t been rumored yet, if it has any of them up its sleeve that is.

New HTC One M8 Max Leaked Review

New HTC One M8 Max Leaked Review

These specs sound like a smartphone fanatic's dream. The rumor also suggests that the phone is made up of an alloy consisting of aluminum and silicon carbide. Android L will be installed out of the box, with HTC's Sense 6.5 running on top. It appears that the fingerprint sensor that was found on the back of last year's HTC One max, has been scratched by HTC.

The HTC One (M8) max has a lot of competition with the Apple iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and LG G3 all offering similar specs. But it might be best for HTC to take on these big guns and hope that the design of the device can carry it through.
