How durable is the M8

How durable is the M8

The HTC M8 is constantly setting the bar higher when tested against the mobile elite.  So just how durable is the M8?  The video above describes the many enhanced features which make this phone one of the best built phones on the market packed with more punch than any other platform available.

This time around we take a look at the durability of the One since this generation is made out of more aluminum, polycarbonate, and glass.
The new HTC One M8 is the second generation of HTC's flagship device. Last year the M7 was one of the most popular devices around, certainly here as well. The M7 was the number one smartphone ranked by you guys for a full year! Now its on to the next HTC One, this one being called the M8. It features a new build using stainless steel and aluminum plus its grown a bit in size.

The new display measures in at 5-inches but keeps the high quality 1920 by 1080 display panel. That equates to 441 pixels per inch, slightly lower than the last generation One but well north of what we conceive as 'Retina' in our world of smartphones. Hardware has also been bumped to hold a new SnapDragon 801 Quad-Core Processor, 2GB of RAM, and one of its main attractions, the Duo Camera.

So join us to find out what the HTC One M8 has to offer. Is it that much better than the M7?

HTC One M8 - Full Review

(1 Month Later)

After the release of the M8 from HTC, it's always important to get a good review once the phone has been around for a while before rushing to judgement based upon specs and over glorified commercial advertising.  Of course the Samsung lovers will rip it to pieces calling it junk and every one and their brother will drop it off a building or bash it with a hammer for youtube fame.  The entire review is very well done and gives a great overview of the M8 before purchase.

As the M8 continues to amaze the mobile industry with their many innovative designs and feature, here is one more trick to help make your life on the go that much easier.  This video will show you how to set up your HTC One M8 to enable double tap to sleep functionality.  HTC One M8 has various gestures but HTC does not provide the double tap to sleep gesture on the One M8 and I show you how to enable double-tap to sleep on HTC One 2014 using the app Knock Lock so that you don't have to use the power button to make the phone go to sleep.
